Join us on Jan 17th Saturday 1:00pm-3:30pm for a special seasonal workshop at @HomeBodyGoodsShop where youâll create a handmade ceramic travel tumbler (and also a 10% off in-store purchase on the workshop day!)âperfect for sipping something warm all winter long while getting Christmas ready at the same time. This class is designed for all levels, whether you're brand new to clay or already comfortable with handbuilding.
Using slabs of clay, youâll shape, assemble, and decorate your tumbler with charming holiday details. Think: wreaths, ribbons, winter botanicals, stripes, motifs inspired by vintage Christmas cards, or anything your festive heart feels like making. Youâll also design and fit your own ceramic sip-lid so the tumbler is both beautiful and functional.
Weâll guide you through:
⢠Building a tumbler from a clay slab
⢠Creating a fitted ceramic lid
⢠Adding underglaze designs, stamps, and hand-painted details
⢠Tips for making your piece sturdy, food-safe, and ready for daily use
Your finished tumbler will be glazed and kiln-fired by our team, ready for pickup in 4â6 weeksâjust in time for cozy hot chocolate winter walks.
All materials are included. No experience neededâjust bring your holiday spirit.

There will be no refunds or rescheduling for this class.
If classes are cancelled or interrupted by a Public Health Order, refunds will not be available. We will rearrange the class within a reasonable time frame.
Student pots will be kept at the studio for only 6 months after the end date of the class, no later. It is the studentâs responsibility to contact Ground Ceramic Studio if they are unable to pick up their pieces on the dates provided by their instructor, no exceptions.
Please note that class are only for age 16 or above
