Planter Hand Building Workshop for Your Big Plant Baby
We know that you thing handbuilding is not as cool as wheel throwing, but then we do able to make cool big thing from coil build. Join us on Jan24th 2:00pm-4:30pm for a plant pot pottery workshop. Explore the techniques of hand building - using coils to create the 10” plant pot of your dreams! Once your pot is finished, our team will fire your piece to the temp that function like a terracotta pot! So it creates porous, breathable planters with a lovely browny shade (please note that the piece we made in this class will not be food safe but “plant safe”.). We recommend using a saucer underneath to catch any water that seeps through the planters.
We encourage you to come prepared with inspiration (Pinterest and Instagram are great options) and we’ll help you to achieve your very own personalized plant pot. A bag of 5KG clay of your choice or extra cost to add more. All other materials included. Each person will have a 10” x 10” plant pot and an optional saucer to take home. (bigger pot would subject to addition cost)
No experience required, but we suggest having done a hand building class before.
